MindField Psychology ("we", "us") operates an online educational study portal for psychology students. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your choices. By using the portal you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information โ when you sign up (via Google or email/password) we collect your name and email address, and optionally your course/stream and year of study if you choose to provide them.
Authentication data โ handled by Google Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email) โ we do not receive your Google password.
Payment information โ payments are processed by PayU. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details; PayU handles them under their own privacy and security policies. We only receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded and a payment reference.
Usage โ basic technical data your browser sends (e.g. device/browser type) and, if enabled, standard analytics.
2. How we use your information
To create and manage your account and give you access to content.
To process subscriptions and confirm payments (via PayU).
To communicate with you about your account, corrections, or requested topics.
To improve the portal.
3. How your data is stored & who processes it
Account and profile data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore). Payments are processed by PayU. These providers act as our data processors under their own security and privacy standards.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers above (Google/Firebase, PayU) to run the portal, or where required by law.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing us at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. You can also stop using the service and request account closure.
6. Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal/record purposes, then delete it.
7. Children
The portal is intended for adult/higher-education students. It is not directed at children under 18 without appropriate consent.
